04/01: Pranks and Plants at Deco Lounge
The first of many things to do in April that involve plants! Head downtown to Deco Lounge, which provides all the materials to make a unique arrangement in a planter you can take home! This event supports programs that help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
04/01-04/18: Tulsa Botanic Blooms
This spring floral festival is not one to miss! Tulsa Botanic Blooms is planned a year in advance and thoughtfully designed, with over 60,000 tulips incorporated each year! The Botanic Garden is open Tuesday through Sunda and requires advanced tickets with timed entries.
04/02: First Friday Art Crawl
One of the more art-focused things to do in April, this event happens every month and makes for a great date night! Head downtown and check out the local art scene, support local artists, and explore what Tulsa has to offer!
04/03: Rose District Farmer’s Market Opening Day
For over 15 years, the Rose District’s Farmer’s Market has brought together vendors, selling hand-crafted and locally grown products to visitors. Come to Broken Arrow for the market’s first day of 2021!
04/08: Bands and Blooms at Tulsa Botanic Gardens
Another of the things to do in April that are perfect for date night! Bands & Blooms takes place a few Thursdays in the month, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Bring a blanket or chairs for comfort, and come listen to great local tunes! A cash bar and food truck will be present as well.
04/09: Ask a Horticulturist at Philbrook Museum
Home gardeners of all levels will have their questions answered by Philbrook’s expert team of horticulturists! This is a great opportunity for those just getting into gardening to find the solutions to their problems and hear advice on how to get started!
04/09: SpringFest at Tulsa Garden Center
SpringFest is Tulsa’s first garden market festival of the season! Local vendors provide all the goods that go into getting your garden started, from tools to plants. For gardeners, this is one of the things to do in April that you can’t miss!
04/16-18: Tulsa Auto Show
An exciting event for car enthusiasts! The Tulsa Auto Show takes place over 3 days at the River Spirit Expo at Expo Square, and has many features for all ages!
04/17: Sand Springs Herbal Affair & Festival
Spring is blooming in Sand Springs! This event lets visitors shop for herbs, heirlooms, perennials, and more! Shop for local goods and crafts while enjoying delicious food and great music!
04/30-05/02: Darryl Starbird National Rod & Custom Car Show
Car lovers will be happy to hear Tulsa has multiple things to do in April for them! This is the largest indoor car show in the country and features over 1,000 vehicles. Visit this show for art, contests, music, and more!
Every Friday: $5 Admission after 5 pm at Philbrook Museum

Tuesdays through Fridays: Momentum 2021: Tulsa
Momentum is an annual event put on by the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition. It focuses on a diversity of media, crafted by artists ages 30 years and younger. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are by appointment only, so plan accordingly!
