Not that kind of bark! This event is one of the more unique things to do in November, but perfect for nature lovers! Put on by Up With Trees, Tulsa’s urban forestry leader, this event is an opportunity to get to know the trees of Tulsa, as well as some local bars. Meet up with other bark-and-beer enthusiasts at Guthrie Green and enjoy your stroll around T-Town!
11/6: Broken Arrow Elks Veterans Day Parade
Take a trip to Broken Arrow’s Rose District to honor our US Military Veterans. Stick around to explore downtown!
11/6: Art Start: Traditional Native American Crafts at Gathering Place
According to Gathering Place, “Art Start highlights the gift of imagination and offers visitors a chance to meet and work with a local visual artist.” This month’s FREE Art Start teaching artist, Mvskoke artist Britteny Cuevas, works with guests to learn about and make traditional Native American crafts!
11/6: Bark at the Park 2021
Another one of the great things to do in November that take place in Broken Arrow! Free for all ages and pet-friendly, this event is a great way to support local pet-focused businesses! As a bonus, you’ll get to see a lot of cute dogs!
11/7: Plant and Sip
Whether you’re an experienced plant owner or new to the Green Scene, this is an enjoyable experience! Take a trip to The Canopy to sip wine and learn about the ins and outs of plant care! By the end of the night, you’ll have your own plant, as well as the knowledge on how to care for it!

11/7: Native American Heritage Month: A Celebration of Art, Food, and Nature
Shop. Taste. Explore. All in honor of Native American Heritage Month! Native art ranging from textiles and prints to jewelry will be available from multiple vendors, as well as food, and guided nature walks focusing on Native American hunting and natural resources. Enjoy one of the more educational things to do in November!
11/13: My Favorite Things Holiday Market
Get a head start on holiday shopping at the My Favorite Things Holiday Market! Shop local and shop small at this sixth annual event that supports over 20 community members’ businesses. This event also features food trucks!
11/16: Momsgiving
Join Boss Mom Crew for a traditional seated Thanksgiving dinner full of powerful working moms! Boss Mom Crew is a global community connecting and empowering working moms! This event is for moms, mom-figures, and adult women only.
11/19-01/3: Arvest Winterfest
One of the best things to do in November is to check out Arvest Winterfest! This event has been taking place for 14 years and is a classic winter activity. With 9,000 square feet of ice for skating, there is plenty of room for everyone, with more than 150,000 attendees in past years! In addition, those who participate in the Monday and Wednesday donation drives receive half-off admission!

November 18th marks the start of the Holiday Season in Jenks! Food, entertainment, and community vendors keep you busy while you wait for the Lights On! countdown. The event will also feature free carriage rides!
